Groupe Mutuel had just recently refreshed their branding. The insurance provider from Martigny wanted their brand’s new identity to come to life, through visual messaging and signage, across all the agency’s offices and administrative centres in Switzerland.
We were tasked with designing a signage system that could be applied to all the group’s buildings, using elements from their branding and their existing brand guidelines. The goal? Bring the company’s new visual identity to life through signage and décor, notably using the walls and furniture.
We began by visiting all of the company’s buildings in Switzerland to build out the brand’s inventory. We then determined which of the brand’s core iconic elements could be applied to the physical spaces we had available, like the walls of main lobby, the client meeting rooms, and the dedicated staff areas. We opted for light-hearted wall graphics and quotes, using pops of the new corporate identity. In parallel, we created a signage system using the brand’s corporate font (Ginto) and icons, which could also be used on digital and dynamic channels. Finally, we flushed out the brand’s charters and carried out the signage and décor installation.
